I can recommend this place for food and wine. The service could improve a bit. We had an exceptionally good Amarone risotto, the beef tartare was also good. The sommelier was really helpful and guided us in the choice of a great glass of Amarone. The venue has a typical osteria atmosphere, however us and all the people booked at 21:15 were seated in a room at the back of the restaurant and we would have preferred to be in the main room of the restaurant where the wine bottles are exposed. The glasses for water were still wet (they said because the have to be fast cleaning them between the first and the second round of dinner). The waiters offered water to all the tables apart from our. I still recommend this place because the food and drink ar top quality but the service has to improve if wants to be at the same high level.

This restaurant is always a great choice for excellent food and wine🍷. They offer one of the best wine selections in the area, and the staff is friendly and highly professional. The atmosphere is truly unique, its timeless charm and authentic character makes it stand out. The food is exceptional, full of flavor, and beautifully prepared. Overall, everything about this restaurant is outstanding. It’s a must-visit in Verona, but be sure to book in advance, as it’s usually very busy!

Family of 5 we really enjoyed our dinner here. We had mixed up our reservation date, but the waiter was very kind, kept an eye on us, and found us a table. The food was delicious, they recommended a wine to us without pushing anything too expensive or fancy. Thank you for a great dinner! The red wine risotto and scallop gnocchi were highlights.

We went for lunch. A well-maintained, historic osteria. The food was excellent, but I had a few minor criticisms about the Amarone risotto: perhaps a little too much cheese. The waiters were knowledgeable and attentive. I recommend it!

The food is delicious and that’s what you want from a restaurant. The wine we had was also great but I do think the wine list tome they give you was a little pretentious - it would have taken me the whole meal to look through it! However, they are happy to recommend wines for you. I asked for a ripasso but they initially showed me a valpolicella superiore but don’t be afraid to turn down their choice and stick to your guns. The resultant ripasso we had was excellent. Coffee not bad too. Whilst English is spoken we did use more Italian than other places - not a problem as we have been learning Italian but more for info. Tables are quite packed in but just on the edge of ok. Service was also a little slow, so factor that it if you are going on somewhere from the restaurant. Knowing all this would I go again … well yes, as the food alone is worth overlooking the other eccentricities.
