Exceptional! Family restaurant with heart and soul. It has typical Veronese dishes and italian classics. Very big and nice wine list with great options. The service is great. We visited it for dinner every night of our stay and will definitely come back.

We loved Ristorante Greppia so much that we went for dinner one night and came back again for lunch the next day. The service is truly exceptional — the waiters are so warm and friendly that you feel like part of the family the moment you walk in. The food is delicious, authentic, and truly representative of Verona. Every dish we tried was full of flavor and made with such care. And of course, the famous cake that the restaurant has been making for over 50 years is an absolute must-try. This is exactly the kind of dining experience you hope for when visiting Verona: genuine hospitality, traditional dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back and would highly recommend Ristorante Greppia to anyone visiting the city.

I booked the restaurant through email and they were very responsive. We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Every dish we ordered was amazing and so flavorful. We had an appetizer of horse meat tartare and dried horse meat. It was such a pleasant surprise as we were used to having beef tartare and this dish was even better and richer in flavor. The restaurant was nice enough to make the dish into two portions as we were sharing. We had the three pasta dishes and the home made fettuccine with truffle. The pastas were amazing and exceeded our expectations. Even though we just enjoyed so much pasta in different types and ways of cooking in other parts of Italy, the dishes here brought a very unique taste. Lastly, we had tiramisu and chocolate mousse dessert. The tiramisu was among the best I’ve ever tasted during our trip in Italy. 5 star experience for the restaurant and I am so happy we chose this place for our celebration. You can also feel that this place is loved by locals too. Diners came in hugging and talking to the staff like family members. Highly recommend for your visit in Verona.

Authentic Veronese comfort—spacious, friendly, and delicious. A fantastic choice for a local-style dinner in Verona. We skipped the tourist traps and settled here for a meal that felt genuinely homely and grounded. The Food: We started with the Pumpkin Ravioli, which was excellent—a perfect balance of sweetness and savory notes. For the main, the Lamb Racks (Costine d'agnello) were the highlight: tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Even the mixed salad surprised me with how fresh and crisp it was; it really helped cut through the richness of the meat. The Wine: We paired the meal with the Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore (I Saltari, 2020). It was a brilliant choice—structured enough to stand up to the lamb but with a velvety smoothness that didn't overpower the pasta. The Vibe: The restaurant is deceptively spacious. Even with a crowded room, it never felt loud or chaotic. The atmosphere is 'airy' and comfortable with simple, clean decor that lets the food speak for itself. Service was attentive and very friendly throughout. Honest, high-quality Veronese food without the fuss.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Greppia. Aurora was very helpful and professionally recommended us some great wines to pair with our dishes. The pasta with horse ragu and the risotto were amazing! Same for the horse tartar (which was divided into two plates since we were sharing). We also had a “bollito misto” which is more of a experience (it’s part of Verona’s history) than a dish we would look forward to again. The service overall and the food were great.
